Looking for better blogging tools…

While the rest of the world is focusing on the « Web 2.0″
« »"revolution »" », the big migration to an all-online web-apps-dude!
world, I’m myself looking for a better tool to feed this blog
posts. Say what you want but web-apps are S.L.O.W.!… I don’t know
how the rest of the world cope with all those micro (and so many not
so micro) delays each you click something or even type, but I, for
one, get really tired of it.
So I got me a new (I hope not long) quest for a good old desktop
application (or plugin/extension/whatever of something)
So far :
- qtm ( http://qtm.blogistan.co.uk/ ) crashed in less than one minute.
- BloGTK ( http://blogtk.sourceforge.net/ ) doesn’t seem to work well and
the last version is 2 and a half years old already. - scribefire ( http://www.scribefire.com/ ), too fixed GUI
- deepsender ( http://deepestsender.mozdev.org/ ) is nice
and right now I’m writing this using an hacked/updated version of
Weblogger for Emacs ( http://jwickers.wordpress.com/emacs-hacks/ )
So let’s hit C-x C-s right now and see what happens…
EDIT:
OMG it worked \o/
Down point : published « as is », you want link, list, fancy stuff ? Better know your html…
